I always loved books as an object and a place where visual imagery is indispensable.

 

When we read, we imagine.

 

A book is a work that also lives on images.

 

I consider myself a ‘chaotic’ reader. You can find every literary genre in my library.

 

When I decided to dedicate a project to my books, I relied on instinct to choose the right ones.

 

I created the images without asking myself any questions about why I chose these books and what linked them together. When I finished the work, I discovered the relationships and assonances you can always find between different elements.

 

I leave the pleasure of renewing this discovery to the viewer.
